Minneola targets speeding motorists - OrlandoSentinel.com: Lake County News

MINNEOLA -- Here's a sign for speeders looking for a fast shortcut through town: Don't even try it. The city has adjusted speed limits to 20 mph in most of its residential areas as part of an aggressive campaign to make neighborhood streets safer. And beginning next month, traffic on U.S. Highway 27 could back up as the state begins up to two years of construction to widen the busy roadway from four to six lanes.
