10News.com - News - Chula Vista May Put Brakes On Speeding With Red-Light Cameras
CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- To gain control of speeders and those who dash through red lights, Chula Vista is close to joining other cities in the county by installing red-light cameras.
Thousands of cars and trucks use East H Street in Chula Vista on a daily basis. It's a primary artery to the 805 freeway, but it's also becomming unsafe.
Last year police wrote 311 citations for speeding -- a third of which were on East H Street.
