News from SunPass for Customers
About two million times a day, the green Thank You light flashes when SunPass customers use their transponders in our electronic toll collection lanes. Most of our customers never have a problem, because they follow a few easy steps to enable a trouble-free ride. Those simple actions include:
1. Keeping your vehicle tag numbers current, along with your name, address and contact information;
2. Maintaining a positive account balance and keeping your credit card information current;
3. Mounting your transponder properly on the windshield and replacing the batteries as needed; 4. As required by Florida Statutes, keeping your driver’s license and vehicle registration current with the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
