Later he went to Qatar University and got graduated from there.

With his hard work, he started his career as a tennis player and as a tennis professional, he was declared as the most successful member of the Qatar Davis Cup team after Sultan Khalfan. He played numerous tennis matches in both his country and outside his place as well and also has won the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Team tournament. From the year 2008, Nasser has been working as president of the Qatar Tennis Federation. After that, he was also elected as vice-president of the Asian Tennis Federation for West Asia in 2011.

He has also received a few awards like French ‘Sport Business’ award, in 2012. After his tennis career came to an end, he has joined in Al Jazeera Media Network in the year 2003 whose headquarters is in Doha, Qatar and it was there that his administrative career began. In 2004, this channel was renamed beIN sports which has 22 channels and that time Nasser was chosen to be its chairman and he became CEO of the media company. Later this media group had become one of the most promising media companies that time.
